Lodge meetings
The Lodge meets in; January (Installation Meeting), February, March, April and, May before breaking for the summer and then continuing in October, November and December. We meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm, except in January when we meet at 5:00pm. Dress is normally dark or morning suit, white shirt and black or provincial tie.
lodge of instruction
A Lodge of Instruction is held monthly, normally on the fourth Tuesday of the month apart from during the summer recess. The Lodge of Instruction is unique in its informality. It is an opportunity to learn ritual, discuss etiquette, procedure and protocol and ask those with more knowledge and experience any questions you may have. Laughter is common, gentle mischief is tolerated and mistakes are allowed, all of which make it the perfect environment for learning.
Rehearsals
Freemasons carry out a number of ceremonies which the candidates taking part in have described as; truly beautiful, deeply moving, inspiring and thought provoking. This is in no small way down to the hard work and long hours spent by each of the Brethren involved learning their parts and delivering them in such a way as to ensure the candidate receives the same memorable experience as they did when they went through it.
For this reason, rehearsals are normally held on the Monday evening before the Wednesday when the ceremony is due to be performed. This gives the Brethren the opportunity to see how their individual part or role fits in with everyone else's to create a seamless performance that the candidate will hopefully remember for the rest of their time in Freemasonry.

committee meetings
This is the less glamourous side of Freemasonry, but as with all organisations discussions need to be had and decisions need to be made regarding the general day-to-day running of the lodge and the aims and priorities of the work undertaken by the lodge during the year. The committee is normally made up of the current officers in the lodge though any member may ask to attend if they so wish.
